3 Day Taste of Argentina
A hands-on exploration of the world of wine and Mendoza's three main wine regions.
Our 3 Day Taste of Argentina is just not our three day tours combined!
It is a much more in-depth experience where we take care to include special Deluxe tastings that aren't normally included on our 1 Day tours.
Our 3 Day Taste of Argentina is designed for people that want a crash course on wine tastings, wine making and as much as we can cram into three days! The aim is for you understand the ins and outs of how great wine is made so that you can taste wine confidently when you return home.
It is a relaxed, fun, no-classroom experience where we visit the very best wineries and vineyards in Mendoza's three spectacular wine regions; Lujàn de Cuyo, the Uco Valley and Maipu.
As well as great tastings in beautiful wineries we also take part in different activities that focus on specific aspects of the world of wine.
Activities can include - tasting unfinished wine from the tank and barrel, making your own blend, a sensory tasting, bottling your own sparkling wine and a special Terroir Malbec tasting of barrel samples.
The main highlight of the 3 Day Taste of Argentina however is the Food and Wine Pairing Class on Day 3. This private class, led by our Sommelier and takes about 2 - 3 hours and is super informative and fun. Along with our sommelier we try different wine and food combinations to see how flavors and wine react, discovering the principles of a good pairing and creating some awful wine pairing disasters – so they never happen again!
Coupled with gourmet lunches, exclusive tastings (from the barrel, tank and bottle) and our expert guides this is hands-down the most enjoyable learning experience you will ever have!
No previous knowledge about wine is needed on any of our tours!

Day 2: Uco Valley and High Altitude Grape Growing
The Uco Valley is one of the newest regions in Mendoza and considered one of the best in Argentina.
On this day we will explore why the extreme conditions created by high altitude grape-growing result in truly magnificent wine.
Departing the city at 08:30 am we will head to the highest sub-region of the Uco Valley – Tupungato.
In total we will visit three wineries; a boutique winery and a larger foreign enterprise with lunch at the third stop.
As we sip and swirl our way through premium wines and enjoy some spectacular close-up views of the Andes we will be able to compare and contrast the terroir in the Uco Valley to that of Lujàn de Cuyo and see how the different climate of the Uco drastically affects the final wine.
For lunch we will relax and enjoy a traditional Argentine asado (BBQ) with all the trimmings. This will be accompanied by high-end Uco wine and the majestic Andes as our view.
